Cyber criminals are relentless and very creative, they will gladly exploit any cyber weakness that appears within a company. For Paytm, this couldn’t be truer. As a financial technology company operating a worldwide online payment system, there is no lack of criminals planning and attempting to target the organization due to its nature.


Having the proper security solutions implemented is only half of the challenge, as knowing how, where and when Paytm will be targeted would offer what static security solutions currently lack – to prevent the unexpected and unknown.


To assist Paytm, Mjolnir Security provided a Darknet Threat Intelligence monitoring service that scours the Deep Web and Darknet, where the criminals reside, for any threats targeting Paytm.

Very quickly, the findings were staggering and shed some needed light on what exactly was done by the criminals and, more importantly, how did Paytm needed to react.
